How God Builds....

                                    How God builds? [Ex 36:1-7]
God is a God of revelation. This revelation is a progressive one which doesn’t end with the culmination of one phase. As we take one step, the next appears. Religious practices bind people into a manmade system of religion and activities, not into a relation based on revelation.
God is not interested in a group of religious people, rather he wants “my people, for me”. People are not ready to become “his” and therefore, they are not able to walk in His revelation. But, God does not compromise with perfection. He builds according to his own model. When his standards are established, his Presence becomes manifest.
God does His work through His ordained individuals.
So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the LORD has commanded.”
Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work. [Ex 36:1-2]
Bezalel and Oholiab were ordained by God. Hence, they were equipped with divine wisdom and rest of the people readily supported them. Indeed, God does his work through His ordained individuals not those ordained or desired by men. An individual’s desire is not enough, it is important to check if he is appointed by God to fulfill His purpose.
If other people take matters into their hands, only a religious assembly arises. As against this, God works according to a discipline. We don’t need traditions and rituals but we need His presence. He doesn’t need anyone to fulfill His plan but He wants to build His Church through His people. People brought a lot but God asked them not to get involved. He said that He would build according to His Will. In 1 Cor 12:28, it is said that God has appointed “some” and these are appointed according to an order.
God is out to build according to His own model, not according to manmade rituals and exhibitions. The parable says that people will say that “We prophesied in your name.” but God wont know them. This is because they did everything for themselves not for Him. God hadn’t ordained them.
People might involve themselves in varied activities but God will do His Work only through his ordained.
His Word follows/exhibits His Capacity / Strength.
And said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD commanded to be done.” Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more, because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work. [Ex 36: 5-7]
God’s commands show his magnitude and standing. He promised Israel to take them to Canaan and to establish them on high. When He called Moses up on Sinai, he could have thought of the lack and shortage that Israel might have to suffer or he might have had doubts regarding provisions in the desert. But, Moses knew that
He spoke out of His Abundance.
And, hence, even if it was the leather of seals required for the Tabernacle, Moses believed in God’s ability to provide and hence, he reached that place of Abundance himself. We don’t have to simply see that Abundance that God operates in, we need to reach it.
We need to get to that place of nearness of God. Moses wasn’t worried at all. The Word says,
Ask and it shall be given unto you.
This means that first you see what He has and so you live peacefully after you ask. Moses knew that God had spoken and promised with full preparation. Hence his peace and prosperity was according to that. It is not human efforts or information but God’s grace that provides. We need to understand that God doesn’t need to be lifted up, he is already there.  We need to reach a place where we can say,
God said, then, that is it!
David had an anointing. And anointing places you in the heights of God. Therefore, he knew that Goliath was nothing in front of his Anointing. Even amongst the sheep, he knew that he had all the resources needed to run the Kingdom and kill the giant.
When an individual expresses his willingness to surrender to God’s desire, fullness and fulfillment is achieved.
They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning. [Ex. 36:3]
Many times we look for resources but that doesn’t work. In the Lord’s prayer, God expressed his desire for his name to be hallowed. But it is in our hands to make that happen. We need to get involved in bringing about that holiness.
God doesn’t establish that holiness, we do. He has said that He will build the Church but he also asks us to build it. He has said that the Kingdom will come but he also asks us to bring it. He has said that His Will will be fulfilled but he also asks us to do His Will.
Israel was daily establishing all that God had said. God wont do what he has asked us to do. Therefore, it is our preparation of the Church will attract the Coming of Christ. We need to find our Will in God’s Will. [in Him]
Wisdom of God and His ability puts us into the supernatural.
So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the LORD has commanded.” [Ex. 36:1]
Even if we are in the natural, he takes into the supernatural. God gave wisdom and skill [I have put…]. A man may be intelligent but might not be wise. Wisdom comes from above but knowledge comes from here.  Only when an individual builds according to God’s Wisdom does God’s Will becomes manifest.
Conclusion
Indeed, God wants to build His Church, through His People, in His Way and thus, He will manifest His Presence.
